I'm a 21 year old hobby artist, I suppose you could say. My dad was a drawing man, and so am I. When I was a kid, he was always doodling everywhere, and that's why my art mostly is.... doodles. haha. Granted, I spend a good deal more time on my doodles than my father did, but many are doodles just the same. I usually don't have an idea when I start, I just draw what feels right and then go from there. Hope you guys enjoy my work, and thanks for stopping by

why gracias. i appreciate it a lot! just practice practice. fun fun! it's funny, i used to only be comfortable with pencil, because i could erase, and because i did not understand an ounce of color. And then I moved into pen, thinking, "well maybe i wont screw it up too bad", and it worked out after some practice, and then i said,"well it would look really good with color". and somehow i went into my two biggest fears in drawing and it worked out! LOL. soon i will have to start painting. the brush is much harder for me to use . i always add some element of drawing into my paintings
I despise painting, especially when it involves black and white painting. O.o And for moving into your two biggest art fears, your work is really GREAT. ~ And I am a very colorful person. Color and pastel are pretty much my mediums. :3 I would love to get into to pen and ink though. Is it hard?
No pen and ink is not hard, it's really good for emphasizing texture and bold lines. it can be great for stipling too if you know what you are doing. I used all ink here, both painting and drawing with a sharpie
Why don't you test colors on a sheet of paper,try the colors you think look good the most, and then pick out the colors that you think fit your masterpiece. (It MAY be a BIT hard to do this . Sorry.)
